Eric was widely regarded as one of the most talented and electrifying players of all time.

Possessing a rare combination of speed, power, and defensive prowess. A two time Allstar three time Gold Glove winner and a two time Silver Slugger award winner he was one of the most dynamic players of all time. Eric spent the first 9yrs in Cincinnati where he was the catalyst of those teams earning a World Championship in 1990.

Eric grew up In Los Angeles and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 8'" round of the

1980 Draft. He quickly made a name for himself with his ability to hit hit for power & steal bases which earned him a promotion to the Major Leagues in 1984 at the age of 22yrs. He made his mark in 1986 when he hit .270 with 27Hr and 80sb.

1987 was the year he put everything together he was player of the month for April & May setting a new record for homeruns with 19. Eric went on to have an MVP season .293 37hr 100 rbi 125 runs scored & 53 steals, he became the first player ever to hit 30 hr and steal over 50 bases.

Eric & his teammates reached the pinnacle of baseball when they swept the Oakland A's to win the World Series, Eric lead the charge by hitting a first INN run homer off Dave Stewart.

Eric played for the Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, St Louis Cardinals, Battimore is where Eric was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in June of 1997 he came back to play the same year and hit a Hr in the playoff's. Earning the first of two comebacks players of the year awards.He earned a lot of awards during his career including the Roberto Clemente' Award. Eric's career spanded 18yrs 1984 thru 2001. He has been working in the front office with the Reds over the last 17yrs and counting, Eric is still revered in baseball as the Godfather kids are still his passion.
